CSW Australasia Inc is an autonomous organisation incorporated in Queensland and working closely with CSWUK. Each year teams of self-funded volunteers visit countries where persecution is taking place to gather first-hand information from refugees, internally displaced people (IDPs), villagers and other sources. In addition the teams give practical help such as providing medical and emergency food supplies for IDPs, finance for the care of orphans and facilitating training programmes as well as encouraging the sufferers by their presence and interest.
The International Labour Organisation used our reports along with others to threaten the Burmese military junta with sanctions if the practice of forced labour was not discontinued.
